Aspiring gardeners and lovers of local, organic produce, welcome to Stanford's R&DE (Residential & Dining Enterprises) Seed Library! The library provides the Stanford community with convenient access to heirloom seeds, as well as workshops and an email newsletter and handouts full of gardening and seed saving information.
Members are notified of a new featured seed each month and can then “check out” a seed at the Arillaga Family Dining Commons. Members are strongly encouraged to give back to the library by sharing seeds from their crop. Past seeds have included English pea, Bright Lights chard and St. Pierre heirloom tomatoes.
