White sculpture of two male and two female figures, by George Segal, 1981.

Stanford’s art isn’t all located inside its museums—some of its greatest treasures are outside. Enjoy dozens of outdoor works of art installed across campus that are viewable 365 days a year. Works by Ellsworth Kelly, Joan Miro, Auguste Rodin and Andy Goldsworthy are located near the two museums; further afield is the Papua New Guinea Sculpture Garden located on the southwest side of campus, Peter Wegner’s suite of five site-specific pieces at the Graduate School of Business, and many more located in between. Public tours are offered through the Cantor Arts Center and an online arts map allows for self-guided tours.
