Have fun staying active and healthy with Stanford Recreation & Wellness.
Fitness classes include aquatics, group fitness, indoor cycling, climbing, F45, Pilates and many more. Drop into any of them with a group fitness quarter pass, which eligible faculty and staff can purchase at the special employee rate. Or, take a recreation class for professional instruction in tennis, golf gymnastics, squash, basketball, or olympic lifting.
Stanford Recreation and Wellness also offers free Personal Training and Fitness Assessment to benefits-eligible employees who have taken their BeWell Health Assessment AND free Virtual Fitness classes online via zoom.
The Intramural Sports Program offers over 20 individual and team sports throughout the year, with flag football offered in the fall, basketball in the winter, outdoor soccer in the spring, and softball in the summer. Valid Stanford ID required.
The Stanford Adventure Program invites faculty and staff to enjoy the climbing wall, the well-stocked rentals in the outdoor center, and Outdoor Clinics.
Spouses, dependents 18 and older, and retirees can take classes too, with a valid courtesy ID or recreation access card. Postdocs can take classes at the student discounted rate.
