Application Submission

Guidelines for successful application submission using the Tuition Grant Program (TGP) Portal:

  • Only use Firefox browser; Chrome and Internet Explorer are not compatible
  • Only have one browser session open at a time
  • Have dependent documentation ready for attachment and uploading
  1. Securely sign on to Axess: axess.sahr.stanford.edu.
  2. Click the “Employee Center” link.
  3. Within the Employee Center, navigate to the “Benefits” section.
  4. Select the “Tuition Grant Program” box.
  5. Select the appropriate Academic Year.
  6. New applications, input your child’s name and date of birth, then follow the instructions and onscreen prompts and answer each question completely. Your personal information will automatically populate.
  7. When prompted, you will be required to upload dependent relationship documentation, such as an official copy of a birth certificate, which is the preferred documentation. Tip: All documents must be in PDF. The system will not allow you to “save” and return to an application at a later time so you must have all documentation ready to upload when you apply.
  8. Click Submit.

Application Approval

After your application has been submitted, you will receive an automated e-mail letting you know your child’s application has been received.
