Disability Leave

If you must take leave for your own health condition, including non-work related illness or injury, you may be eligible for disability benefits. This is in addition to the job protection that you receive through the Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act.

Note

Disability benefits discussed here pertain to non-work related situations. For work-related illness or injury, view details about Workers' Compensation on the Risk Management Department website.
