What is one fun fact about you?
I enjoy everything about teaching at Stanford and I try to make my classes entertaining as well as informative. Many of my students have often told me how much they enjoyed taking my classes.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
I enjoy working with my students and helping them learn American Sign Language and learn about Deaf Culture.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I am very proud of having the opportunity to work with so many students, many of whom have been able to use their American Sign Language skills with their friends, family and in their work situations.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
It is always wonderful to meet my students many years later, when they come back to visit at Stanford, and many times, their children have also taken my classes.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Stanford is a great place to learn and work, and try to take advantage of everything that Stanford has to offer.
