Meeting, working with and mentoring so many brilliant faculty, staff and students at Stanford.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
In the last six years, my department (Pediatrics) has set up 37 labs in new locations in several lab research buildings both on campus and at Stanford Research Park. Twenty-seven of these labs are new to Stanford.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
I loved the opportunity to work for several years with colleagues at SSRL at SLAC. The experience epitomized the fortune of exploring and learning new areas of science for me.

While always focusing on your core duties, work at developing your own niche by volunteering for projects and taking the initiative to develop new ones. Above all, have fun while you are working at Stanford.
