What is one fun fact about you?
I hid under the desk that I now have at SLAC when I was about 5 years old while waiting for my dad to finish work. I never thought that I would spend most of my life at the same desk.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
At SLAC, one has the opportunity to interact with an extremely clever group of people and the learning process will never stop.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Each detector has been special. The VXD3 vertex detector, the water-cooled beryllium beam window for BaBar, the EXO-200 detector, the LZ detector with the robotic loom, and the DUNE detectors all define my past.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Hearing "it works" when they turned on EXO-200.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Ask a lot of questions. Talk to as many people as possible about your problem.
