What is one fun fact about you?
I am a third generation Stanford employee and a second generation Stanford graduate.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
The breadth of knowledge across the campus is special. Just about everyone you meet exposes you to some new elements of knowledge.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I've been the project manager for several dozen new buildings on campus, but nothing compares to leading the Escondido Village Graduate Residences project. The scale and size of the project (over a billion dollars and four 10-story buildings) was a rare opportunity in the construction business, and I led the best project team that delivered and built this massive project, on time and on budget.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
I carry the memories of the great people I have worked with at the Department of Project Management. It's a very special group.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Be curious and inquisitive. There is always lots to learn.
