What is one fun fact about you?
I enjoy working in my vegetable garden, cooking/preserving my homegrown produce, and sharing with friends and family.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
I love that there are an abundance of opportunities to learn new things.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I was honored to have received the Dean's Inspiring Change Leadership Award in 2017, after leading a project to revamp the annual scheduling process for SoM classrooms and Immersive Learning Center.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
The first few years I was at Stanford, I was a course coordinator for MD courses and also worked with clinical students who were applying to residency programs. When I took an opportunity away from the SoM, the Dean gave me the opportunity to present students with their Match envelopes (revealing where they would be doing their residencies) on Match Day. It was such an honor to be a part of such a memorable event for the MD students.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Take advantage of career development opportunities, as well as personal development offerings like the BeWell Program.
