I play the trumpet, French horn, and other brass instruments.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
Can I say two things? I like the amazing group of coworkers I have, and the university's desire for excellence.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Being part of the emergency response crew that addressed the 1998 Cecil H. Green Library flooding. Ice cream vendors put all the books in ice storage to freeze-dry them until a better solution was found. The 60,000 soaked books were eventually sent to an East Bay cold storage plant.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
The time Queen Elizabeth visited. Security was very tight and there were sharpshooters on roofs by the Stanford president's house, as an added protection for the Queen.
