Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
In the mid-90s, I helped form the SF Bay Area regional high school math teams for ARML, a major national mathematics competition. They quickly won the national championship -- the first team from west of the Mississippi to do so -- and to this day, remain one of the strongest teams in the country. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to teach and learn mathematics with so many talented and motivated pre-college students through EPGY, the Online High School, and the Stanford Math Circles.
