Since coming to Stanford in 1996, I have had 9 job titles in 4 departments, but have always had my office in 333 Bonair.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
I like the History of the Campus. A lot has changed since the construction in 1887.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
In 2006 I was Zone Engineer for Zone A. I was assigned the construction of the SEQ-2 (Y2E2, Huang and Spilker) I enjoyed working with the design team and end users to ensure we were building for the future needs.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Walking through the HEPL Tunnel just before the Building was torn down. Everything was already shut down, but I remember thinking of the history of Stanford. HEPL was the path to the SLAC facility.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
Enjoy your work. Strive to do what is best for Stanford. Make relationships with people you work with.
