What is one fun fact about you?
Only one fun fact? Well, Kamala Harris only received 57 more votes than I got in the New Hampshire Democratic primary in 2020.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Working at Stanford University during the COVID-19 pandemic was both challenging and deeply rewarding. As a staff member, being part of an institution that quickly adapted to unprecedented circumstances was an incredible experience. Stanford led the way in pandemic response, leveraging its world-class research and medical expertise to contribute to global efforts in understanding and combating COVID-19. Staff played a crucial role in transitioning to remote learning and ensuring that students and faculty had the resources to continue their work. The ability to innovate and implement solutions, from virtual classrooms to remote research support, made a tangible impact. Being part of an institution that actively worked to bridge gaps and provide support was particularly rewarding. Seeing how everyone came together to ensure safety, maintain academic excellence, and support one another highlighted the strength of the Stanford community.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
I feel fortunate to be part of an institution that serves the community, both locally and globally. It's thrilling to meet those whose lives have been improved by the work done here, whether through a medical or engineering breakthrough or by pushing the boundaries of human understanding.
