What is one fun fact about you?
I enjoy dancing, like Zumba!
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
The beautiful campus.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I have had many success stories working with my professors to submit proposals for research funding. The most recent success is working with Professor Anthony Kovscek and colleagues on the EFRC project that was submitted for a little over $15 million. When it got funded, it was such a great feeling and a joyous moment for everyone who worked to put the proposal together.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
Getting hired in November 1990 and working for Emeritus Professor Lynn Orr on a Department of Energy (DOE) final report. It was a group effort to complete this report with faculty, staff and students. Professor Orr flew us to Monterey on his private plane for lunch to thank us. Appreciation!!
