Stanford Celebrates You: Recognizing Staff Careers
Congratulations to the Stanford staff who celebrated 25 years or more of service in 2025! We are excited to honor these employees at the 13th annual Stanford Celebrates You event on May 13, 2026. University leaders, honorees, and their guests will gather to recognize continuous or bridged service of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, or 55 years.
The event will be held in person on the Stanford campus and livestreamed to enable virtual attendance. The afternoon will begin with opening remarks from Provost Jenny Martinez and Elizabeth Zacharias, Stanford’s Vice President for Human Resources. We'll also hear from Lloyd Minor, Dean of the School of Medicine, John Sarrao, Director of SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and Dr. Shirley Everett, Senior Associate Vice Provost of Residential & Dining Enterprises and Special Advisor to the Provost.
Our host will be long-time Stanford Celebrates You event emcee Victor Madrigal, Director for Alumni and Student Class Outreach at the Stanford Alumni Association. Fun fact: Victor is also an honoree this year — celebrating 30 years at Stanford!
Throughout their impressive tenures at Stanford, our honorees have contributed significantly to the university's mission and community with their deep knowledge, dedication, and collaborative spirit.

Everyone is invited to watch a livestream of the ceremony on May 13, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. PT. Honorees who cannot attend in person may also choose to join via livestream.
