What I enjoyed most about my time at Stanford is . . .
Working with brilliant, although challenging researchers.
What is your favorite place at Stanford and why?
Rodin Sculpture garden. It's the largest collection of Rodin outside of Paris. The light on the figures in the morning is beautiful. Driving down University Avenue towards Memorial Church in the morning is also very beautiful.
Point of Pride: Tell us briefly about an event projects, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Each stone on a mountain gently reflects the shape of the mountain itself. And thus is a person's life, each day reflects the whole life. I am proud every single day I walk in the door of everything I do for the Division of Oncology.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance or advice would you give t o a new hire to Stanford?
Plan to stay for a long time and plan to work really hard. There's more to being successful than just showing up.
