What I enjoyed most about my time at Stanford is . . .
I have had the privilege of working directly with Nobel Laureates Burt Richter, Richard Taylor and Martin Perl, and with the one and only Pief Panofsky. I've worked on projects with all five lab directors, three before they were directors. I saw the construction of SLC/SLD and helped create design reports for the B-factory, GLAST, and LCLS, and was able to witness each of their successes. I consider myself lucky to have a position that has given me access and insight into all of the major experiments at SLAC and the people that make them possible. Those men and women are my fondest memories of SLAC.
What is your favorite place at Stanford and why?
The Stanford Golf Course. No better place for a morning stroll.
