The Carillon Concert, October 31, noon, is the annual ringing of the Hoover Tower bells to signal Stanford’s commitment to emotional well-being. The concert is one of the few times each year a carilloneur plays well-known songs on Hoover Tower’s bells.
Enjoy gentle stretching, tai chi, and a quiet space for simple meditation and relaxation prior to the 12:30 p.m. ringing of the bells.
You can gather with your community at Dorhmann Grove, the Oval Ear or Meyer Green to enjoy the concert, or you can listen on KZSU radio at 90.1 or kzsu.stanford.edu.
The concert is part of the Contemplation by Design Summit—Stanford’s annual celebration of the power of the pause for leading a more fulfilling life.
