Your teen's feelings of self-esteem and personal power are influenced by beliefs and actions that they learn from you. Explore ways to build their self-esteem and learn how to avoid unsuspected parental communication blocks.

With Cynthia Klein, BA Cynthia Klein’s mission is to contribute to World Peace and the family is the place to begin. As a parenting expert for 28 years, parents learn from Cynthia how to communicate more effectively with their children as an ally rather than an adversary. Her unique Ally Parenting System teaches parents of 5 to 25-year-olds language and actions that build greater influence which leads to connection, cooperation, and collaboration. The family learns how to have open dialogue, solve problems together, support one another, and build mutual respect in all relationships. Thus, the seeds of peace are nourished.

As the author of Ally Parenting, she has created a unique formula for parents to transform conflict into cooperation. Cynthia has spoken in person at hundreds of schools and organizations, successfully coached a myriad of struggling parents, and taught numerous online programs based on the Ally Parenting System. She earned a Child Psychology degree at U.C. Berkeley, taught elementary school, and is certified in adult education and many parenting education programs. She also has a successful adult daughter that was reared based on this system.
