Focus on your personal and professional growth this summer from anywhere you’re working. Our professional development course catalog is brimming with timely and relevant topics, including a few that are back by popular demand.

Professional Development Courses

  • Crucial Conversations (3 sessions, live online): Your success and that of your team may largely depend on how quickly, directly, and effectively you speak up when it matters most. Gain the skills to step into disagreement—rather than over or around it.
  • Navigating Ambiguity in Uncertain Times (2 sessions, live online): Stay grounded, resilient, focused, and effective--and even be more innovative--when the unexpected becomes the norm.
  • Introduction to Service Design (3 sessions, live online): Many of us work to deliver services to faculty, staff, and students. Learn more about the human-centered design approach to creating good service experiences, facilitated by the Stanford Improvement, Analytics, and Innovation Services team.

* Pay the fees for all of these classes with your remaining STAP funds, which expire each year on Aug. 31.
