Coming This Spring: New Protection of Minors Management System

Stanford Earth Young Investigators program. Linda Cicero/Stanford News Service.

This April, University Human Resources is launching a new Protection of Minors management system (ePOM) to streamline and centralize the process for registering minors programs and activities at Stanford.

Currently, those completing requirements for Stanford’s Policy for Protection of Minors must do so using a number of different systems. With ePOM, program sponsors and administrators will be able to register their programs and activities, submit the required documents, manage staff and participant information, and track if policy requirements have been met, all in one place.

Making these processes more efficient helps ensure the safety of the campus community—especially children under the age of 18 taking part in Stanford programs and activities.

University Human Resources will announce dates soon for ePOM information and training sessions. For more about the Protection of Minors policy and requirements, please visit the Protection of Minors website. For questions about ePOM, contact University Human Resources at protectminors@stanford.edu.
