IDEAL initiatives to launch this summer
Hundreds of university leaders and staff will participate in two diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives this summer. For leaders, a strategic alignment session will focus on the university’s DEI vision, goals, strategic framework and expectations for change. These sessions begin in August.
For staff, a comprehensive and unique "learning journey" will be piloted this summer, designed to educate staff about racism, diversity, inclusivity and equity, as well as to build the awareness and skills needed to impact transformational cultural change. The pilot sessions being in late June, with a phased rollout slated to start this fall.
