As the university prepares for a gradual, phased restart of campus operations, your health and safety are a top priority.
In preparation for our safe return, Dr. Raj Puri's Workplace Health Innovation Lab in the Occupational Health Center partnered with University IT (UIT) to create Health Check, a new self-reporting tool that informs you if you’re cleared to return to a Stanford location each day. The tool works in compliance with the new Santa Clara County order requiring daily temperature and COVID-19 system screenings for those planning to visit a Stanford location, including the Stanford Redwood City campus.
All faculty, staff, postdocs and students who are working onsite at a Stanford location are required to use Health Check on a daily basis as of Friday, May 22. For additional information about Health Check, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions
The goal of Health Check is to keep our onsite population healthy by helping them track their health daily and identify any symptoms of illness early on, thereby limiting the viral spread of COVID-19. Widespread use of this tool across the university will help ensure that everybody onsite is working in a safe environment to the greatest extent possible.
