Emotional Intelligence Training

Course overview:

Leaders at all levels struggle when they lack the ability to identify and express emotions. For many who thrived early in their career on technical knowledge and IQ, working with their emotions is often uncomfortable and unfamiliar territory. This module challenges leaders at all levels to tap into next-level intelligence to practice better self-management and handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.

There is an innovative blend of short presentations and brief individual and group interactive exercises; very interactive.

Participant Outcomes:

  1. Define emotional intelligence as a leadership competency.
  2. Explain that emotions can play an essential role in relationship building.
  3. Demonstrate how emotional intelligence enhances leadership.
  4. Identify the internal processes that impact external behavior.
