At the Crossroads: Relocate or Age in Place?

The number of Americans over 65 years old continues to grow, and with this growing population comes many questions about housing options that offer the best quality of life as needs and abilities change. What should I know if I want to age in place? When is the right time to transition to a new housing arrangement? How do we begin this conversation with those we love? 

In this session we will discuss considerations around living arrangements and transitions in housing. We will offer concrete strategies to discuss housing needs and review options and costs for aging in place, or relocating to care communities, affordable independent senior housing or shared housing.  Participants will leave with a greater understanding of their options, and how to determine what may work best for themselves and those they love.
