Speaker Bio:

Rachel Samoff has been an early childhood educator for the past 52 years. Her experience has included work in the U.S .and in Africa as a teacher, parent coordinator, parent educator, teacher trainer, teacher coach and administrator. From 1984 to 2013 Rachel was the founder and leader of a not-for-profit multicultural early care and education program. Following coursework in reflective practice, she earned an endorsement as an early childhood mental health practitioner in 2013.

Rachel currently is an early childhood teacher coach working with programs funded by First Five as well as a facilitator of reflective practice. She has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. from the University of Michigan in education with an emphasis on early childhood and multicultural education.
