Below are common steps used by supervisors to process or view status of team member training assignments.

1. Job Aid & Other Reference Documents Available

Download and print the job aid and other reference materials found on the Resources page for Assignors

2. Access the Assign Learning for Team page

  1. Login through Axess
  2. Click on the Assign Learning for Team menu item under the STARS menu

3. Select Team Members

  1. View Direct Reports only or use the expansion buttons or shortcut menu to view Directs and Indirect reports.  For supervisors with large teams, please refer to the job aid on use of the "type to filter" field
  2. Select individually or by using the shortcut menu some or all team members

4. Select Objectives

  1. Under the "Objectives" section, use the "type to filter" field to narrow the list to relevant objectives
  2. Select the Objective(s) to assign
  3. Enter a "Target Completion Date" or leave blank to compute a 30 day deadline

5. Process Assignments

  1. Confirm the Team Members and Objectives selected (in gray) are correct for assignment
  2. Click the "Assign the Selected Objectives" button
  3. Review the confirmation screen and click the "Assign" button

6. View Assignment Status

  1. Select Team Members individually or using the shortcut menu (selected ones have gray background)
  2. Click the "View Team Objectives" button
  3. Sort by desired column and review the Assign column for status of assignments.  "Met" assignments indicate training has been completed

7. Waive Assignment (less common activity)

  1. Select Team Members individually or using the shortcut menu (selected ones have gray background) to waive an assignment for
  2. Select an objective to waive (in gray)
  3. Click the "Waive the Selected Objectives" button
  4. Review the confirmation screen and click the "Waive" button to process
