Welcome to the Grow and Perform at Stanford performance program.

The purpose of this annual summary job aid is to assist you through the annual summary process step-by-step. All steps for you to complete will be in purple and all notes will be highlighted in teal. Binary refers to the grading system employed by the School of Engineering and Stanford Law School.

This job aid will cover how to:

  1. Locate performance document in GPS
  2. Complete your self-evaluation
  3. Complete your final feedback
  4. Update your performance goals

Accessing the GPS website

  1. Navigate to Axess by entering https://axess.sahr.stanford.edu/ into your browser search bar and log in using your SuNET ID.
  2. Select “Employee Center” in the navigation at the top of the webpage.
  3. Scroll down to the Performance Management menu in the right-hand column of the webpage and select the Grow and Perform at Stanford (GPS) System link.

Please note: Attachments will not be uploaded to open text.

2. Complete your self-evaluation

3. Provide Final Feedback

Access your performance document after your manager has confirmed the meeting was held in GPS. Note: Comments are optional.

Step 1: Access your performance evaluation by following the steps in 'Locate your Performance Document.'

4. Update performance goals on your performance review

If you want to update your goals listed on your performance document, use the following screenshots. If not, you can skip to the 'Complete Self Evaluation' section.

  2. Get in touch with your local HR team
  3. For system-related issues, submit a GPS help ticket.
