In 2015, Cardinal at Work was introduced as a workplace identity with the purpose of creating a unified employee experience.
This effort included the launch of the Cardinal at Work website, a consolidated online destination for benefits and rewards, career development, employee events and other resources to support your workplace experience. Enhanced communications and new events were promoted to keep you informed and connected with colleagues. Additionally, for staff, a university-wide engagement survey was conducted in fall 2015, with a Check-In survey in fall 2016.
In February, we'll conduct a survey to assess the effectiveness of our workplace communication efforts and identify how the Cardinal at Work identity has affected you. The goals of this survey are to:
A series of employee focus groups will be held in the spring to gather more input about your employee experience. The results of both the survey and focus groups will help shape workplace communications and build upon the Cardinal at Work spirit at Stanford during FY18.
On February 13, benefits-eligible employees will receive an email invitation from “Cardinal at Work” to complete the survey. The survey is brief and should take no more than five minutes of your time. Please check your spam or Clutter folder if you cannot find the email invitation in your inbox.
If you complete the survey by February 24 and provide your email address, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of 10 Cardinal at Work tote bags complete with T-shirt, lunch container and lanyard.
