Honoring staff service: 13th annual Stanford Celebrates You

This annual event honors the dedication and commitment of staff who have served Stanford for decades, and the many ways they help make Stanford special.
Stanford Celebrates You - Recognizing Staff Careers 2026

Congratulations to the Stanford staff who celebrated 25 years or more of service in 2025!

In May, these employees will be honored at the 13th annual Stanford Celebrates You event, where University leaders, honorees, and their guests will gather to recognize continuous or bridged service of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, or 50 years.

Throughout their impressive tenures at Stanford, these honorees have contributed significantly to the university's mission and community with their deep knowledge, dedication, and collaborative spirit.

About our anniversary celebrants

Hailing from 21 different schools and units, this year's honorees represent roles as diverse as Art Library Operations Manager, Head Teacher at Bing Nursery School, Sprinkler Specialist, Staff Physicist, and Deputy Editor of Stanford Magazine.

For instance, Neal Adams is celebrating an incredible 50 years of service at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. As an IT Business Partner, Neal is proud to have shared exciting science with a more diverse community and contributed to the growth of SLAC as a world-class laboratory and facility. His favorite thing about working at Stanford has been meeting and being surrounded by amazing, passionate, creative, fun, caring, and thoughtful human beings.

One of our celebrants attends the Stanford Celebrates You event every year! That’s because Victor Madrigal has been the event’s emcee since its inception. This year, Victor will be both the emcee and an honoree, as he celebrates his 30th anniversary with Stanford. Over the years, Victor has held several roles within the Alumni Association and is currently serving as the Director for Alumni and Student Class Outreach.

Being honored for 25 years, Amy Hartfield, a Senior Executive Assistant for Land, Buildings & Real Estate (LBRE), appreciates the many friendships that have bloomed during her time at Stanford. She is proud to have been part of developing LBRE's Support Staff Center of Excellence, which provided structure for support staff and created more development opportunities for the team.
