Introducing the HR Service Center
We are excited to announce the launch of the Stanford HR Service Center, which unified several teams, including Disability and Leaves Service and Benefits Service teams. This first phase is a transitional phase until the new HR and Payroll system, Sequoia, goes live in July 2026. During this phase, many existing processes and points of contact remain in place as services continue to mature ahead of Sequoia's launch.
The HR Service Center is available to provide guidance and resolution to most common HR inquiries and requests for benefits, leaves, I-9s, and Tuition and Training Programs (i.e., TGP, STAP, STRP).
- Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT
- Service Portal: Submit a ticket to the relevant HR area via the Stanford Services & Support website.
- Phone: 877-905-2985 (toll-free)
- Coming in February: Once the first phase of Service Portal updates go live on February 12, support requests may be submitted via the Request HR Service Center Support form on the Stanford Services & Support Website.
With the recent launch of the HR Service Center, you may notice a change in how HR support is referenced and requested. The team previously referred to as the HR Service Team on the Cardinal at Work website and in HR and benefits communications is now part of the HR Service Center, reflecting its expanded role in supporting and connecting employees and managers to the right HR resources.
We plan to share additional updates regarding the upcoming Service Portal enhancements in next month’s newsletter.
