What I enjoyed most about my time at Stanford is . . .
The students I serve and colleagues I work with. Also, working with many smart students. I enjoy and appreciate their gratitude.
What is your favorite place at Stanford and why?
Campus drive and the Old Angel Field, where I used to run and walk, are my favorite places. The old and the new gym where I work out are also places I enjoy. The Tree House, Thai Food place and Sport House are my favorite places for lunch.
Point of Pride: Tell us briefly about an event projects, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
I am really proud of the many policy meetings where we share ideas to come up with creative ways to help student’s finance their education. Attending graduation is another occasion.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance or advice would you give to a new hire to Stanford?
Treat students, colleagues and friends as you want to be treated. Listen carefully at what they want to say. Always try to be creative to help within your power and authority. Know that you are there for students. Respect, trust and you will get back the same you invest, and maybe more. Be sensitive to their request, even if you do not have the authority to fulfill. Be a team player with your colleagues.
