How do I access the applicant recruiting and tracking system (Taleo)?

Log into Axess (http://axess.stanford.edu) with SUNet ID and password. Click on the Employment Center tab and scroll down to the Staff Compensation and Recruiting section. Click on the Taleo Recruitment Manager link.

Will I still have to collect a Stanford Application from the candidate when I interview or complete the hire?

No, you will no longer collect a Stanford Application (SU-29) for regular non-academic, benefits-eligible positions at time of interview. The Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System captures Stanford Application information and an electronic signature when the candidate applies for a position on the https://careersearch.stanford.edu/ website.

Will I be timed out if I leave the Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System open for a long time?

Yes, the Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System application is set to log out users after 120 minutes of inactivity.

How can I get better performance out of the Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System?

Clear cookies and cache, shut down all browsers and relaunch the browser that you are using for better performance.

Can I use the Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System on an iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device?

Applicants may apply for a position using an iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device. Hiring Managers and HR Representatives will not be able to use these types of devices to run the Applicant Recruiting and Tracking System.

When my job is posted in Taleo, where else will it automatically be posted ?
