University-Wide Staff Engagement Survey

Launching October 2018

Engagement is our pride, energy and optimism that fuels discretionary effort. When we have high alignment (knowing what is expected of us and what we're working to accomplish) and agility (how we anticipate and respond to change), managing engagement strategically helps build a better Stanford.

When is the staff engagement survey?

The next engagement survey launches October 8, 2018 to October 26, 2018.

Why measure employee engagement?

Share your voice and how connected you feel to Stanford. Let us know how we can strengthen your employment experience at Stanford. 

The engagement survey will: 

  • Highlight the workplace environment of our staff community
  • Empower staff to confidentially share their experience working at Stanford
  • Measure staff levels of engagement and drivers over time
  • Support university directives and initiatives

Who has access to the results?

To ensure confidentiality, the survey is administered by an independent culture and strategy organization. No one at Stanford has or will have access to your individual results. Results are reported to managers only for groups of five (5) or more employees, not on an individual basis. Read FAQ to see how we're protecting your response.
