The University and SEIU Local 2007 began negotiations on a successor contract on May 28, 2024. Since that time, the negotiation teams have met 21 times and have reached 24 tentative agreements on topics such as leaves of absences, promotions, step assignments, compensatory time off, terminations, and the grievance process.
The University remains committed to continuing to work with SEIU to reach an agreement on a new contract before the current contract expires on August 31, 2024.
