Annual Conference

The IDEAL DCP Conference 2023: Working Together to Facilitate Change was held on Monday, September 18. The conference offers a hybrid format (in-person and virtual) with additional virtual-only programming throughout the weeks following the conference. The in-person conference was hosted at the Stanford campus at Munger.

Conference registration

This annual no-cost conference is open to all Stanford staff who serve as DEIB practitioners (any staff member who engages in DEIB efforts). Registration for in-person conference attendance closed on August 25, 2023. Registration for virtual conference attendance closed on September 10, 2023.

Share your work with the community

We invite all conference attendees to share individual or team DEIB work with the broader DCP community. At our first annual conference in 2022, attendees asked for an opportunity to share DEIB/JEDI work with colleagues at the conference. In an effort to "uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities" (Lave & Wegner-Trayner, 1991), we're requesting DEIB-related content submissions from the community. 

Please note that DCP members are not expected to create new content to submit; this is an opportunity to share existing work, including highlights from the past and aspirations for the future.
