Building leadership skills and networks doesn’t end when you complete a leadership or manager development program. To continue your leadership journey, we offer events and activities for our alumni community of 2,000 Stanford faculty, staff and administrators.
360 Relaunch (for Manager Academy Alumni)
Click the STARS link below to sign up to relaunch your Manager Academy 360 survey. After registering you will receive an email that your 360 survey has been opened so you may invite raters and complete your self-assessment. This opportunity is available to Manager Academy alumni who have waited at least six months after attending the classroom workshops.
Speak at Stanford Manager Academy (for Leadership Academy and Leadership @ Stanford Alumni)
PRESENTATIONS: TUESDAYS AT 3:00 P.M. | PANELS: FRIDAYS AT 8:45 A.M.
We are seeking passionate leaders from across campus to contribute to the Stanford Manager Academy workshops by presenting your leadership journey (a reflection on your career and what leadership lessons have led you to your current position at Stanford) or by participating on a 3-person panel. These opportunities are a great way for you to give back to the university, to reflect on your role in management, and to influence the managers of Stanford Manager Academy.
Leader as Coach (for Leadership Academy and Leadership @ Stanford Alumni)
Leader as Coach is your opportunity to learn and practice core coaching competencies, and impact the learning objectives of Stanford Manager Academy participants.
- Enhance your skills for effectively coaching others (in Manager Academy and with your team)
- Give back to managers within the organization, helping to develop and mentor the future leaders of Stanford University
- Network with other senior leader participants in the program
- Upon completion, requires a coaching commitment of six Manager Academy participants over the next two years (roughly 3 hours of coaching per participant)

Stanford Faculty Presentation (for Manager Academy Alumni)
The Stanford Manager Academy workshops are book-ended by presentations from Stanford University faculty. We have reserved a limited number of seats in each presentation for Manager Academy alumni to attend these presentations. Each presentation will last two hours, and will feature a different speaker presenting a topic important to achieving success as a manager.
Managing Within the Law (no cost for Manager Academy Alumni)
Led by seasoned attorneys and facilitators, this course will cover common challenges managers face in effectively managing within the law. It is a recommended supplemental course to Manager Academy.
