Best practices and resources to guide you through a work group transition when an employee joins your area or leaves your area.


Whether your employee is moving to a new unit or school within Stanford or leaving the university altogether, you have a critical role to manage the transition and departure process to maintain productivity and workplace efficiency.

Important Note: If an employee death occurs, your first step is to notify your local HR group. There are specific steps that must be taken quickly, and HR managers will initiate the process.
