What is one fun fact about you?
When it comes to the plants and trees at Stanford, I have an unnerving, historical memory of almost every nook and cranny.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
I love working with and around so many talented people from all around the world.
Tell us briefly about an event, project, program or initiative you were involved with at Stanford that you're most proud of.
Protection, preservation and ArcGIS mapping of the trees at Stanford has been one of my main objectives. I am very proud that I played an integral part in saving hundreds of Stanford's trees by having them moved from a construction site then pampered in their new transplanted locations. Yes, trees MOVE at Stanford!
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
One evening, during my early years at Stanford, I decided to take a walk as the sun was setting. It was beautiful with a stage, tables, chairs, lighting and graduates gathering with families. It was the graduation dinner in the Main Quad! Everything was spotless and every single person carried a presence of accomplishment and pride. Pure MAGIC!
