Design Thinking in Action: Boost Creativity and Innovation in the Workplace! (3 part series)

Course overview:
This workshop employs a design thinking approach to address workplace challenges of all kinds. Participants learn to apply design thinking to bring out innovative solutions to everyday challenges.

We want to solve today’s workplace challenges with a cutting-edge concept called “design thinking.” Applying this to workplace challenges means working collaboratively with our stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that are human centric. This is a hands-on workshop that will leave you transformed in your ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to solve problems and leverage opportunities. This is a three-day workshop conducted over the course of eight weeks. It is intended for those who would like to leap into design thinking and are motivated to solve the challenges of today's workplace.

Individuals and/or work groups are welcome to join.

If you join as an individual, you will be assigned to a team and work together with your designated team on solving the challenge that the team undertakes. This enables you to experience the full methodology and gain real experience with design thinking.

If you join the workshop with one or more members of your work group, you can choose to work on one of the business problems facing your team. This enables you to gain the maximum benefit and transfer the learning to your team (i.e., concepts, vocabulary, process etc.)!

This course has mandatory prework; you will receive the link to the prework from the course facilitator 2-3 weeks before the course start date.

Weekly Homework:
Please note that this program includes weekly homework, intended to help you implement the techniques and reap significant benefits. It is recommended that you plan on spending one hour per week to complete weekly homework. This translates to approximately 8 hours of homework in total, spread out over eight weeks.
