Master of Liberal Arts

Stanford offers a unique opportunity to pursue a Master of Liberal Arts degree, an interdisciplinary course of study in the liberal arts. The MLA degree program is open to staff. The MLA is structured as a part-time program to accommodate the needs of busy adults, so classes are in the evening. All classes are taught by Stanford faculty and are typically held as small seminars with 20 or fewer students to allow for greater individual attention. Staff are able to use Staff Tuition Reimbursement Program (STRP) funds toward the tuition costs.
